For chat data submitted through a customer's website, the website owner is the primary controller and we act as a processor on their behalf.

What data we collect

• Chat messages sent through the service
• Hashed IP addresses (for security, not stored as raw IPs)
• Page URLs where the chat is used
• Browser user agent
• Country, derived by Cloudflare
• Customer name, if available from the connected website
• Email address for account signup and billing

We do not sell personal data.

Why we use this data

• Provide and operate the chat service
• Deliver conversations to the website owner
• Maintain account access and subscription management
• Prevent spam, abuse, and fraud
• Monitor service performance
• Comply with legal obligations

• Contract: to provide the service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the service

Where data is stored

Service data is stored in Cloudflare D1 and may be processed by Cloudflare and infrastructure providers. Data may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards under GDPR.

Retention

• Conversation data: retained until deleted by the customer or account closure
• Session data: 7 days

We may retain limited information longer for security, billing, or legal compliance.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. If your data was submitted through a customer's website, contact that website owner first. You may also contact us at info@rugpjute.lt.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
